“Effe Serieus”, hard to miss in the Dutch music space right now: Rijck. 😉

His release strategy, and the way he builds anticipation, has been genuinely refreshing. While scrolling through Reels, I kept seeing artists and industry voices point to his rollout as something that “needs to be studied.”

So I did exactly that. 🤷‍♀️

I’ll let the article speak for itself, but it’s a data essay on Rijck and, more broadly, on how the Dutch hip-hop scene is releasing music right now.

Let this also be a small reminder: now that AI makes data, design, and analysis more accessible at a low cost, the standard for reporting and insight should be higher than ever. There’s no excuse for insights to hide in dull spreadsheets or badly designed dashboards.
